Kacey Musgraves and Brandi Carlile Owned This Year’s Grammy Awards

There were some big winners on last night’s Grammy Awards, and Country music was represented! Especially the ladies . . .

Kacey Musgraves went 4 for 4 in her nominations and wins this year, taking home trophies for Best Country Solo Performance (“Butterflies), Best Country Song (“Space Cowboy), Best Country Album (Golden Hour) and the coveted title for Album of the Year (Golden Hour).

Brandi Carlile went home with arms full of trophies for Best Americana Album (“By the Way, I Forgive You”), Best Americana Roots Performance (“The Joke”),  and Best American Roots Song (“The Joke”).

The night wasn’t just about the ladies, though. Dan + Shay took home the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Tequila”).

Willie Nelson took the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album (My Way).
