Incinerated Tractor-Trailer on TN I-24 Was Carrying Mail to Clarksville

Yesterday morning, a tractor-trailer hydroplaned, slamming into a bridge and caught fire, shutting down TN Interstate 24 West-bound for quite a few hours.

Thankfully, no one was hurt and the driver of the truck is expected to be OK.

Turns out, that truck was heading to Clarksville . . . with MAIL.

Think about it . . . bills, tax returns, medical records — all ablaze!

If you’re someone who had mail on that truck, you will be receiving a letter to let you know, along with instructions on contacting your local postmaster, a spokeswoman for the United States Postal Service shares.

If you do NOT receive a letter, that means you didn’t have any mail on that truck.
