If Parents Could Choose Their Kids’ Career Paths

If you actually could choose a career path for your kid to go in to, what would you pick?

A new survey asking over 2,000 parental units that very question found most parents  want their kids to have a career in engineering and coding for their offspring, while the least preferred career path is sales and retail.

Here are the TOP FIVE preferred careers parents want for their kids:

  1. Engineering, 48% of parents.
  2. Coding, 45%.
  3. Finance, 39%.
  4. Healthcare, 36%.
  5.  I.T., 34%.

And the FIVE career paths parents would rather their kids not have :

  1. Sales, 2%.
  2. Retail, 3%.
  3. Transportation and logistics, 5%.
  4. Human resources, 5%.
  5. Journalism and publishing, 5%.
