I Can Eat What?…FOR BREAKFAST???

I’ve been waking up early for work for a long time…I mean a loooong time.  I guess it’s been 1994 pretty much so what, going on 30 years now?  Anyway, during that time the one breakfast companion I’ve always had with me is cereal.  I’ve dabbled into other areas, like biscuits, oatmeal, but I have always come back to cereal.  It’s not just the convenience but I like the taste of cereal over the other “breakfast” foods.  I say breakfast foods because I may be changing my morning eating routine.  Why?  Because I have read that research has confirmed that, are you ready, PIZZA, is a better breakfast food.  In a nutshell, pizza has less sugar, a bit more fat, but, one slice of pizza has about the same amount of calories as a bowl of cereal.  Nutritionist say because of the lower sugar content, bit more fat but the same calories, where it has a even bigger benefit is you don’t have a sugar crash later on and with the bit more fat you are less likely to snack later on so you wind up consuming fewer calories.  So, am I ready to eat pepperoni pizza for breakfast, not sure but I have to admit, it doesn’t sound bad with my Mountain Dew.
