Husband Misunderstands Wife Request for Tulips

Another example that some people hear what they want to hear . . .

A wife in Kentucky asked her husband for tulips she could plant in their yard for Valentine’s Day, but the hubs totally misunderstood and got her TURNIPS!!

Allan Harris of Hartford had quite the V-day mix up when he gifted his wife Nina a bucket of turnips. Seriously though . . . who eats turnips?

Of course, Allan ran back out and got his bride the tulips she asked for, but Nina was a good sport and still gave her man some credit because, “turnips were harder to find than tulips.”

That’s right Nina, it’s the thought and effort that counts.
