I was 33 years old when I learned how to iron.

When I wash clothes I rarely put things in the dryer, I like to hang dry my clothes.  The problem ends up being, my jeans and long sleeve shirts are very wrinkly.  A while back I bought an iron and an ironing board but I have never used them.  Finally this weekend, I decided to bust them out.

I filled the iron with water and tried to use it.  Well, at first I had no idea what I was doing and water was pouring out the bottom side of the iron.  I knew something was wrong, I tried to fix it but I didn’t have any luck.  I called my mom later in the day and I asked her what I was doing wrong.  She told me to mess with the knobs, wouldn’t you know it, it worked.

Once I got the setting right, I was an ironing fool.  I ended up ironing clothes for the next 20-30 minutes.  If I do say so myself, I think I did a pretty good job.
