Hey Beaver Country! It’s coming!!

Jennifer Grey is reassuring us that the Dirty Dancing sequel is going to happen!!  The sequel will feature some familiar faces too!!

Months after announcing the details about the movie during Lionsgate’s presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas earlier this year, Jennifer Grey filled us in on some new developments then said that filming for the project kicks off in the spring.

She said there will be a return to Kellerman’s and her character of Frances “Baby” Houseman is also going to be “quite a few years older and a few “other characters from the original” will be joining her as well.

The capacity of Grey’s role has been kept relatively under wraps since the announcement.  During that time, she released her memoir book, “Out of the Corner back in May”

Jennifer will also be the executive produce for the sequel.

The film is expected to be released in 2024.  Will you go see it?
