Health Begins with Exercise Before Work

Apparently all we need is a brisk thirty minute walk in the mornings, and that’s enough to lower our blood pressure for the rest of the day.

Australian researchers found that it’s not those insane HIIT workouts that are doing it, but a little bit of cardio before you go to work is enough.

They suggest walking at a moderate pace on a treadmill for half and hour, and that’s enough to lower blood pressure in a way that would be on par with taking blood pressure meds, in addition to some mental health benefits.

In addition, they found that also getting up and taking time to walk around at work for a good three minutes every half hour will add to the benefits, AND it’s even more effective for women.
