Have you heard of Casey Jones Distillery?

Not only is Hopkinsville know for the Kelly–Hopkinsville encounter, for livestock, tobacco, for the production of globally recognizable products such as Krusteaz products, Ghirardelli brownie mix, Cracker Barrel biscuit mix, Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuit mix, SunFlour corn meal and flour, but it’s making it’s way to moonshine and bourbon greatness!

Did you know that moonshine may be putting Hopkinsville on the map too? A Hoptown based distillery called Casey Jones Distillery is making it’s dot on the Bourbon Trail! Known for moonshine, this is a must stop on the Bourbon Trail!

Casey Jones Distillery is a sight to be seen!  The distillery is decorated with family history and memorabilia!  Treasures such as the legendary prohibition still-maker Alfred “Casey” Jones’ past, his bourbon and moonshine recipes passed down through generations!  They are super secret family traditions and now it’s up to Master Distiller Arlon Casey “AJ” Jones, who just happens to be Casey’s grandson! Also in on the distilling business, his wife, Peg Hays.

Casey Jones is the only distillery on the bourbon trail in Hopkinsville .  If you make a stop to the Casey Jones Distillery , try  the hand-crafted, locally sourced spirits ― including Casey’s signature Moonarita and Bourbon cocktail!  MMMMM delicious!  Casey Jones is locally sustainable, all products are made from locally grown Kentucky corn,.  You can also get a tour and learn about production process. Not only is it interesting, but delicious and educational!

If ever you find yourself without something to do on a Saturday, Casey Jones is just up the road in Hoptown! It would be very worth the time and energy! Check it out!
