We all know the story of the Bell Witch but do you know about these places? How about we take a look at the stories and haunts around Beaver Country and get ready for the spookiest time of the year!

  • Resthaven Memorial Gardens-Behind the cemetery, old stories and reports talk about a house that was once the home of a slave owner. Rumor has it, one of his slaves forced himself on his daughter and she ended up with child.  The slave owner killed the man and his ghost is said to roam the house looking for his child. Resthaven is located at Madison St and Miller Road in Clarksville.

  •   Austin Peay Trahern Theater- the theater is said to be haunted by Margaret, a ghost who haunts the third floor and the stage. Margaret is said to push buttons and mess with the elevators and electricity, lock doors, bang on lockers and call the names of students.

  • The Kentucky State Penitentiary-This is one of the most haunted places in Kentucky, it’s also said to be the oldest prison in the state built in 1886 and is still an operating prison today. There have been many accounts of hauntings from both prisoners and staff that have worked at the prison. There’s been countless reports of disembodied voices, whispers, footsteps, and even screams. A glowing orb has also been spotted by numerous people.

  • Lick Creek Cemetery- There have been reports of people that fade in and out, along with glowing objects and eyes have been seen in Lick Creek Cemetery. This cemetery ranks top scare among the haunted places in Kentucky! It’s located on Lick Creek Rd in Dawson Springs, KY
