Happy National Taco Day

“Let’s taco ’bout it . . .”

Today is Nat’l Taco Day and, even though EVERY DAY should be Taco Day, a plethora of Mexican food restaurants are giving away FREE(ish) tacos!

To get your taste buds ready for their taco fiesta, here are some fun stats about the holiday (because YES it is a holiday).

Over 95% of Americans are definitely about that taco life

71% of us prefer tacos over burritos

3/4 of us admit to eating tacos at least once a month

The most popular taco meat is carne asada (followed by barbacoa, chicken, pork, and chorizo)

The least popular taco meat is lengua (ummm, that’s cow tongue . . .)
