Grab a free cone from Dairy Queen on Ice Cream Cone Day!

Dairy Queen is getting ready for spring in the best possible way: by handing out free ice cream! That’s what I call a warm welcome to spring!

On Monday, March 20 — the official first day of spring — get to your local DQ for a free small vanilla soft-serve cone. There is a limit of one free cone per customer while supplies last at participating non-mall DQ locations. The deal is not valid on digital or delivery orders.

But, according to their website, it’s as good as yours if you walk in and get your cone!

DQ’s Free Cone Day began in 2014, but the event was canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

Free Cone Day not only kicks off the beginning of spring but also what the company calls “‘Treat Szn’ — the time of year when the weather warms and the only things that should be cold are sweet treats that come in a cone or cup,
