Goin’ Fishin’

Of course this involves my little girl.  lol  First let me start by saying I’m not sure the “right” age for a first time fishing trip but I have a feeling it may happen this summer.  So I was talking with a TWRA officer the other day and I wanted so badly to get my little girl the lifetime hunting/fishing licence before her third birthday but we just couldn’t make it happen, however I did find out from the TWRA guy that I can still get it, it will just cost a bit more.  So I’m thinking of going that route.  It may be a waste of money, I’m not sure if she will love doing those kind of activities or not but to me it’s worth having the faith. lol  I remember my dad taking me fishing and I watch these videos all the time of these little boys and girls catching a fish and how much they just love it.  Right now our little girl in really into watching fish and she LOVES water, so I’m thinking I’m going to be that dad that has his little girl out on the river bank just about every weekend and in my head hearing the Trace Adkins song “Just Fishin'”  Those memories may be biggin’s but she thinks were just fishin’.
