I see now where Skinny Jeans are out of fashion, at least with Gen Z’ers, Millenials however still say to rock it. This got me to thinking about my own fashion statement or as my wife would say, lack thereof. Anyway, when we first started dating I wore plaid, like all the time. I may have had 2 or 3 solid color shirts, the rest, plaid. I liked plaid. So I wore it, every day. Well fast forward a few months, once the relationship was solid and we were comfortable asking more personal questions, Ruthanna made a plaid comment, to which I said I liked plaid. She just chuckled and said she noticed but not much else was said. Fast-forward to after marriage and that’s when Ruthanna informed me that I needed to “expand” my wardrobe choices to include more than just plaid. She even said plaid was not in fashion and she doubted it ever will be back. Not sure if she said that so I would give up some shirts or what, but most plaid left, and in came solid colors into my fashion wear. Now, here we are, 2021 and what do I see EVERYWHERE? Plaid. My wife even said I should get a few plaid shirts just to mix it up and stay at least some what in fashion. OK, I will, I will be glad to, I still love plaid. Now though, when I wear them, at least for a little while, I will be wearing them with my….you guessed it, relaxed fit jeans. I DO NOT DO SKINNY JEANS. LOL
