Fletch & Jai’s HIGH FIVE for Tuesday Opry Tickets: July 30, 2019

Each weekday morning around 7:40 AM on the Beaver Morning Show with Fletch and Jai, we’re giving you a chance to win a pair of tickets to Tuesday night’s Opry at the Grand Ole Opry House.

On the stage this Tuesday, July 30: Little Big Town, Charlie Daniels, Dailey & Vincent, Cam, Bill Anderson, Scooter Brown Band, and Zach Williams.

Here’s how it works . . .  Each day around 7:40 AM, we’ll be looking for caller number five to play in Fletch & Jai’s HIGH FIVE! Listen for the trivia and the cue to call – 877.999.9887 – for your chance to win!

Wednesday, July 24 – “Who Is It Wednesday?” Be the first person to correctly identify the celebrity Fletch & Jai give 5 facts about. Today’s facts were: This Louisiana born native is the adopted son of a trucker who spent a lot of time delivering cottonseed with his daddy and learning the music of Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Charley Pride; which planted the seed for his future career . . . Before he made the move to Nashville to follow his dreams of Country stardom, he majored in pre-law at Northeast Louisiana University (now called the University of Louisiana at Monroe) . . . Oh, and BTW, he attended college on a baseball scholarship, the same sport his biological father played when he was a relief pitcher in the MLB . . . When he quit drinking, he needed a good diversion and decided to get his pilot’s license; and while he’s keen to fly a plane, you won’t catch him jumping out of one anytime soon . . . In addition to being an amazing country artist, this guy is also an actor, having astounded audiences with his turn as an abusive dad in “Friday Night Lights,” as Vince Vaughn’s immature brother Dallas in “Four Christmases,” and as Sandra Bullock’s husband Sean Tuohy in the biographical sports drama film “The Blind Side” . . .  Who is it?  (A: Tim McGraw)

Thursday, July 25 – “5 Second Throwback Thursday” Fletch & Jai will play a 5 second clip of a throwback Thursday song BACKWARDS! Starting with caller number 5, can you be the first person to correctly identify the name of the song and artist/s?  Today, backwards clip of a song was: Charlie Daniels Band – “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”

Friday, July 26 – “5 Second Friday” Fletch & Jai  will give you the cue to call, and they’re looking for caller number 5. Once caller 5 is on the line, Fletch & Jai will ask a trivia question, and the caller will have five seconds to give the correct answer. If caller number five fails their attempt, Fletch & Jai will reset the clock and move on to the next caller. Today’s question was: In the state of Tennessee, it is perfectly legal to be driving your car down I-24 while holding your phone and taking a video of yourself singing along to the radio, especially if it’s The Beaver 100.3 FM, for your Instagram stories — True or False?  (A: False, it is NOT legal)

Monday, July 29 – “Movie Quote Monday” Fletch and Jai say a line from a movie, starting with caller number 5 and working their way up from there. Caller must correctly identify the movie. Today’s movie quote was: “AHHHHHH, KELLY CLARKSON!”  (A: The 40-Year-Old Virgin)

Tuesday, July 30 – “5 Second Tune Tuesday” Fletch & Jai will play the first 5 seconds of a song and, starting with caller number 5, the listener must correctly identify title and artist of the song. If caller number five doesn’t guess the correct title and artist, we’ll move on to the next caller. Today’s five second tune was: RUNAWAY JUNE – “Buy My Own Drinks”

Fletch & Jai’s HIGH FIVE is powered by RIMTYME Custom Wheels & Tires, 672 N. Riverside Drive in Clarksville, and online at rimtyme.com.
