Fletch & Jai’s HIGH FIVE for Tuesday Opry Tickets: December 10, 2019

Weekday mornings around 7:40 AM on the Beaver Morning Show with Fletch and Jai, we’re giving you a chance to win a pair of tickets to Tuesday night’s OPRY AT THE RYMAN at the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

That’s right! The Tuesday Opry has moved to the Ryman Auditorium — located at 116 5th Street in Nashville, TN — for the remainder of the season.

*Please note: this is the FINAL Tuesday Opry of the season. The Tuesday Opry shows will return in February 2020.

On the stage this Tuesday, December 10: Ricky Skaggs, Jimmie Allen, Maggie Rose, Sawyer Brown,  and more.

Here’s how it works . . .  Each day around 7:40 AM, we’ll be looking for caller number five to play in Fletch & Jai’s HIGH FIVE! Listen for the trivia and the cue to call – 877.999.9887 – for your chance to win!

Wednesday, December 4 – “Who Is It Wednesday?” Be the first person to correctly identify the celebrity Fletch & Jai give 5 facts about. Today’s facts were: Thanks to his grandmother’s home karaoke machine, this Beaver Country favorite fell in love with Country music . . . He moved to Music City in 2008, and while he was trying to make it solely as a country artist, he held odd jobs; one of which was serving as a lifeguard . . . In high school, this guy suffered a career ending football injury to his knee, but it wasn’t until 2013 that he had surgery on it – so he could dance better on stage . . . One of our own hometown favorite singer/songwriters – Brice Long – is a frequent writing partner of this guy, including a well known hit “Heartache On The Dance Floor” . . . He doesn’t need much Heartache Medication after getting engaged to his girlfriend whom he asked to marry him while performing on stage at the Ryman Auditorium this year . . . Who is it?  (A: Jon Pardi)

Thursday, December 5 – “5 Second Throwback Thursday” Fletch & Jai will play a 5 second clip of a throwback Thursday song BACKWARDS! Starting with caller number 5, can you be the first person to correctly identify the name of the song and artist/s?  Today, backwards clip of a song was: Charlie Daniels Band – “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”

Friday, December 6 – “5 Second Friday” Fletch & Jai  will give you the cue to call, and they’re looking for caller number 5. Once caller 5 is on the line, Fletch & Jai will ask a trivia question, and the caller will have five seconds to give the correct answer. If caller number five fails their attempt, Fletch & Jai will reset the clock and move on to the next caller. Today’s question was: You’re traveling to the store to get some pots and pans because your current ones are pretty old and borderline unusable. You’re driving and you come to a traffic light that is green. What do you do?  (A: Go!)

Monday, December 9 – “Movie Quote Monday” Fletch and Jai say a line from a movie, starting with caller number 5 and working their way up from there. Caller must correctly identify the movie. Today’s movie quote was: “Greetings and salutations . . . you a Heather?”  (A: Heathers)

Tuesday, December 10 – “5 Second Tune Tuesday” Fletch & Jai will play the first 5 seconds of a song and, starting with caller number 5, the listener must correctly identify title and artist of the song. If caller number five doesn’t guess the correct title and artist, we’ll move on to the next caller. Today’s five second tune was: Maren Morris – “My Church”
