Thursday, August 1 – “5 Second Throwback Thursday” Fletch & Jai will play a 5 second clip of a throwback Thursday song BACKWARDS! Starting with caller number 5, can you be the first person to correctly identify the name of the song and artist/s? Today, backwards clip of a song was: Johnny Cash – “Folsom Prison Blues”
Friday, August 2 – “5 Second Friday” Fletch & Jai will give you the cue to call, and they’re looking for caller number 5. Once caller 5 is on the line, Fletch & Jai will ask a trivia question, and the caller will have five seconds to give the correct answer. If caller number five fails their attempt, Fletch & Jai will reset the clock and move on to the next caller. Today’s question was: If you ask someone what time it is, and they answer “It’s a quarter after 10,” what time is it? (A: Quarter after 10 or 10:15 were both acceptable answers)
Monday, August 5 – “Movie Quote Monday” Fletch and Jai say a line from a movie, starting with caller number 5 and working their way up from there. Caller must correctly identify the movie. Today’s movie quote was: “All right, all right, all right.” (A: Dazed & Confused)
Tuesday, August 6 – “5 Second Tune Tuesday” Fletch & Jai will play the first 5 seconds of a song and, starting with caller number 5, the listener must correctly identify title and artist of the song. If caller number five doesn’t guess the correct title and artist, we’ll move on to the next caller. Today’s five second tune was: Kelsea Ballerini – “Miss Me More”
