Find Your Inner Karen and Save Money…

So I had to search deep inside for my inner Karen Yesterday and I got $40 for it.  So I hadn’t noticed that a small charge of $2.80 was charged for a magazine subscription I didn’t renew each month for the last 3 months and it was for THREE with just slightly different charges.  They said it was automatically renewed but in the past I got a confirmation email.  If I hadn’t looked closely at my charges as I’m preparing to close the card I wouldn’t have noticed.  I got a refund for all three at $29! I can’t imagine how many others get that unnoticeable charge!

Then I noticed my credit card had started charging a fee of $8.25 so I called and after being told no, I, “Karen” asked for a supervisor, 2 minutes later I received a refund for the fee and 6 months more of no fee.

about $40 later, Karen got it done and never felt so good!
