During a recent “Dig Your Roots” tour stop, Florida Georgia Line teamed up with the Independence Fund to give retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage an all-terrain wheelchair. The duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard were personally on hand to present the wheelchair to Savage, who lost his leg in 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. FGL posted a picture of them with the veteran, saying, “Truly blessed to be able to present a chair to retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage.” This marks the second time that FGL has presented an all-terrain wheelchair to a wounded veteran. Earlier this year, the duo presented a wheelchair to retired Army Sergeant Seth Kotouc at a show in Oklahoma City. More information about the Independence Fund can be found at www.independencefund.org. https://www.instagram.com/p/BR1GX8KAtbn/ I spotted this guy at a BWC event a while back and was very impressed with his wheels…. or tread in this case….
