Feel Good Story: Woman Welcomes Homeless Man Into Her Home, Together They’re Helping More Homeless

Back in 2017, Victor Hubbard made headlines when Ginger Jones Sprouse invited him to live with her and her family at the Clear Lake, Texas home.

Victor was homeless and living with mental illness at 38 years old. He’d spent years standing on the same corner, waiting for his mom to come back and pick him up, but she never did.

Ginger always saw Victor and wanted to do something to help, eventually striking up a conversation that turned into a friendship,  then turned them into family.

Hubbard now has a job and a home of his own (it’s right next door to Ginger’s family’s’ home.

Now, the duo are using their story to help others in need, by using proceeds from their recently-published book “Kinda Like Grace” to buy a house for someone who needs a roof over their head and could use the hand up.
