Feel Good Story: Woman Surprises Group of Teens Before Prom

There was a group of teens out for dinner on Prom night before going to the big dance the other week when they got quite the surprise act of kindness from a complete stranger.

There was a woman also at the restaurant when she noticed her usual server wasn’t assigned to her table, and she asked which tables he had. The server said just one for the moment because that one table had a big party.

When the woman realized it was a group of teens on their way to prom, she decided to make their night a little more special . . . and PAID for the entire table’s meals.

When the teens found out, they couldn’t wait to thank her.

Clarksburg High School student Therese de Leon shared, “She told [our server] that we looked absolutely stunning and offered to pay for our dinner — anything we wanted.”

The teen continues, “What we will never forget were the kind words she left with us. Before we left her table, she reminded us to ‘always love ourselves’ and to remember that ‘we are beautiful inside and out.”

She adds, “It was refreshing and enlightening to know that there are still kind-hearted people out there. All over Twitter, my friends and I have read about people like this woman who are generous and are genuinely kind to regular people like us. We never would have thought we would be able to experience generosity of this scale.”
