Feel Good Story: UPS Driver Adopts Dog That Jumped In His Truck

A UPS driver named, Jason Coronado, was delivering along his route just outside Buffalo, NY when one of his stops turned into the start of a special relationship.

Jason was making a delivery to an animal shelter when Ernie, a pit bull-terrier mix, ran over and jumped into the UPS truck.

Jason didn’t have any dogs, and really had no plans on ever bringing one into his family, but Ernie didn’t care. He just sat in Jason’s truck and refused to leave.

Later that night, once Jason got home, he sat down with his family and discussed the possibility of having a new 4-legged family member.

Just this past week, everything became official and Jason and family ADOPTED Ernie!!

Ernie, apparently, knew from day 1 just how much he loved Jason, because he follows him around everywhere. Jason says of Ernie, “He’s basically just a big lap dog.”

Now go hug your fur baby, and we hope you have a very special day!
