Some quick thinking from a few teens saved an 8 year old’s life!
A dad and his young son were skiing in Vancouver the other day when the 8 year old fell out of the lift! His dad was trying to pull him back up but his attempts were unsuccessful.
The lift came to a stop so that they didn’t go any higher, but they were sitll about 25 feet off the ground.
A group of five teens were on the ground and saw what was happening, and came up with a brilliant McGyver-style idea . . . grabbing some of that orange boundary fencing that keeps skiers on course, while another teen grabbed some padding.
They told the kid to kick his skis off before he fell, then caught him. The boy was taking to the hospital as a precaution, but he wasn’t hurt thanks to the quick thinking teens.
As a thank you for their heroic act, the ski resort gifted the teens with free season passes.
