Feel Good Story: Teen Causes Accident to Save a Life

When high schooler Olivia Jones from Clearwater, Florida noticed something wasn’t right with the driver in the car next to her, she jumped into action that may have actually saved a life!

Olivia was at a stopped at a red light when she noticed a woman slumped behind the wheel in the car beside her.

At first Olivia thought the woman was texting because her head was down, but quickly realized the woman was actually having a SEIZURE!

That’s when the woman’s car started to drift forward and into oncoming traffic.

Without any hesitation, Olivia pulled forward to get in front of the woman’s car, hit the brakes, and let the other vehicle gently crash into her back bumper.

Once both cars were fully stopped, Olivia jumped out of her car and opened the woman’s door, put that vehicle into park and called 911. EMTs got there about 2 minutes later.

Olivia’s quick thinking and selfless actions quite possibly saved this woman’s life.

The teen did admit some fear that her parents might be upset with her for the dent on her back bumper, but obviously the parental units were cool with it. Their daughter is a hero after all!
