Albert Lexie is our inspiration to go out and do good things today.
He was born with some developmental issues, but that never stopped him from getting jobs done, nor being a genuinely decent and kind-hearted human being
Albert worked as a shoeshiner that charged $5 per shine, and only made around $10K/year.
However, Albert always donated his tips to the Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and he’d done so for over 30 years.
He wanted to help underprivileged kids who need medical care.
Sadly, Albert passed away last week at the age of 76.
Someone tallied up Albert’s donations, and found the kind gentleman donated more than $200K!
The hospital’s president says that Albert was the “perfect example of how small, incremental acts of kindness can impact millions of people.”
