Vicki Anderson (53) is a McDonald’s employee in Wichita, KS whose 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass had been on it’s last leg for quite some time when it finally broke down for good a few months back.
Getting to work every morning was proving to be quite a challenge, but she couldn’t really afford buying another car.
During a conversation with one of her drive-thru regulars, a business owner named Chris Ellis, the topic of Vicki’s car came up.
Vicki asked her regular if he knew of anyone selling a vehicle for cheap, and Chris said he’d ask around.
Chris didn’t have to look too far, as it turns out . . . his son Josh has just bought a new truck and was selling 2009 Pontiac G6.
So, Chris asked Josh how much he wanted for it.
Then, last week, the father-son duo showed up at their favorite McDonald’s location and surprised Vicki by GIVING her the car.
Chris covered the cost his son was asking for, and of course Josh gave his dad a really good deal on it.
Josh even cleaned it, changed the oil and had the tires rotated for Vicki.
Somebody even caught the whole thing on video.
Vicki was so emotional she had a moment where she basically hyperventilated over the kindness of the two gentlemen.
Chris shared with Vicki that she makes him smile every time they chat, and he just doesn’t forget stuff like that.
That’s why he did what he did.
