Feel Good Story: Not Your Typical Fire Drill

More often than not, the Feel Good Story highlights people helping people (or fur babies), but sometimes it’s just heart-happy news.

A Kentucky high school teacher thought she was in the middle of a typical fire drill, but there was nothing typical about it.

The teacher, Allison Hunt, was outside with students and other staff members during the fire drill when Captain Tom Cecil with the Louisville Fire Department came up to her.

Oh yeah, and Captain Cecil is also Allison’s boyfriend.

He’d switched shifts with another guy so he could be at his girlfriend’s school for the fire drill . . . . so he could PROPOSE!

That’s right. The captain popped the question to his lady love, and she said YES!

All of her students went nuts and someone was able to get video of it.
