Feel Good Story: Newlyweds Take Party to Shop for ‘Toys for Tots’

Have you ever been to a wedding, where the bride and groom ask for donations to a charity near and dear to their hearts “in lieu of gifts?”

This is a stellarly whole new spin on that, and we’re here for it!

Newlyweds Jessica and Brad Bond got married in Orlando over the weekend, and did something pretty special.

They took their 100 guests to Target . . . handed each a $10 gift card . . . and told them to buy a toy for Toys for Tots.

Most of their guests ended up spending more than that with their own money for more toys, so there were A LOT of toys to be gifted.

Here’s the thing . . . this wasn’t just some randomly kind idea the couple had. It’s more of a tradition for them.

Seven years ago, on their first date, Brad took Jessica to Target and they picked out some gifts to give to Toys for Tots.

It’s something they would continue to do every year on their anniversary, so it seemed quite fitting to bring their friends and family in on the tradition.
