Feel Good Story: Neighborhood Entertains 3 Year Old Who Can’t Go Outside

When one little boy’s fight for health left him with the inability to go outside, his neighborhood leaned in to help the kid keep being a kid.

Quinn Waters may only be three years old, but he’s already shown a strength that can inspire.

The little guy recently had a brain tumor removed, then followed the surgery up with a stem cell transplant and chemo — which, unfortunately, left his immune system destroyed.

Without a functioning immune system, Quinn has to stay indoors for a quite some time.

He hasn’t had much time to get bored or go stir-crazy, though, because member’s of Quinn’s community are showing up to entertain him through his FRONT WINDOW!

Quinn has had all kinds of entertainment come do his window — like jugglers, musicians, a group of bikers who ride by on their Harleys, a guy who showed up with water balloons for the 3 year old to throw at him, and more.

Last month, Quinn got to meet SUPERMAN!

Quinn’s mom in a police officer, so a lot of her team will drive by the house with the sirens on for him, too.

Doctors believe Quinn’s immune system should be strong enough to allow him to go outside again in a few weeks, and will know how well his treatments have been working in another month or two.
