Feel Good Story: Mom of Two Gets Travel Help from Three Kind Strangers

Becca Kinsey is a 31 year old mother of two (5 year old James and 2 year old Wyatt), who was traveling back to Texas from a successful trip to Disney World, when exhaustion and meltdowns kicked in.

Becca had taken the kids on the trip alone when her husband couldn’t get the time off work, and while the kids are “usually very well-behaved,” they were over it all once they hit the airport.

In a Facebook post, the mama of two shares, “We were standing in line in security, on the verge of tears because Wyatt was screaming and James was exhausted.” The post continues, “Out of the blue, one mom stops the line for security and said, ‘Here, jump in front of me! I know how it is!’ Wyatt fell asleep and I was trying to carry everyone’s carry-on when another mom jumps out of her place in line and said, ‘Hand me everything, I’ve got it.’

The story keeps getting better . . .

Becca continues to share, “When I said thank you to both of them they said ‘don’t you worry, we’re going to make sure you get on that flight.”

After the two women helped, one continued to Becca’s gate with the their luggage in tow, all the way to the gate that would take Mama and kids back to the hubs in Texas.

But wait, there’s more!!

Once in their seats at the back of the plane, two year old Wyatt started to wale. That’s when a third woman, another passenger en route to Texas, jumped out of her seat to help.

As Becca tells it, “After about 45 min, this angel comes to the back and says ‘you look like you need a break’ and holds Wyatt for the rest of the flight AND walks him all the way to baggage claim, hands him to [my husband], hugs me and says ‘Merry Christmas!!’”
