Feel Good Story: Marathon Runner Rescues Puppy

While running a marathon in Thailand last week, one runner was seven miles in when she noticed other runners ahead avoiding something in the road.

Turns out, it was a puppy that was either lost or had been abandoned.

Instead of running around the puppy like all the jerks in front of her, she scooped the puppy up and carried it with her for the duration of the marathon, 19 more miles.

While she said running with the puppy made finishing the marathon twice as hard, she just couldn’t leave it behind.

The runner tried to track down the owner after the marathon, but no one came forward. So, she too the little guy to the vet, got him vaccinated, and ended up adopting him herself.
