Feel Good Story: Little Girl Orders $300 in Toys, Donates them to Children’s Hospital

Six year old Caitlin Diyaolu used her mom’s Amazon account and ordered over $300 worth of toys when Mom wasn’t looking. Caitlin even splurged for the one-day shipping option.

Caitlin’s parents had no idea until all these boxes started showing up the next day.  While Caitlin was pretty proud of herself, her parents were not to pleased. They decided Caitlin’s internet privileges should be revoked for a month, which is like the 2018 equivalent of being grounded.

Here’s where the really good news comes in to play — Instead of sending EVERYTHING back to Amazon, Caitlin and her parents decided it was a better idea to donate the toys to the children’s hospital where Caitlin stayed for a few weeks as a baby.

While Caitlin was sneaky about getting the toys, they are now ALL going to sick kids.  What a teaching moment, not only for Caitlin, but for us all.
