Feel Good Story: Kind Stranger Pays for Groceries After Forgotten Wallet

Jai was chatting with a kind gentleman while at our Neighborhood Block Party yesterday evening, when he shared a story we couldn’t help but feature as today’s Feel Good Story.

The man shared his story of being at the grocery store recently with his son.

Once at the register, when it was time to pay, he realized he’d left his wallet at home. He started to apologize and ask if they could set his groceries to the side while he ran home to get his wallet.

That’s when the woman in line behind him decided to help out, and offered to buy his groceries.

He thanked the kind stranger while asking how he can get in touch with her to pay her back, but she wouldn’t have it. The kind stranger was all to happy to be able to help someone out.

While leaving the grocery store, the man’s son kept talking about how wonderful humanity is and it’s because of people like that kind woman.

Further proof that there is no story too big nor too small when it comes to showcasing kindness, and encouraging us to help each other out.

We love sharing stories from right here in Beaver Country. If you come across a situation or story that makes your heart happy, please share it with us. Slide into our DMs on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Our handle is @beaver1003.
