Feel Good Story: Hundreds Show Up for 90 Year Old Veteran’s Funeral.

A 90 year old Korean War veteran named Hezekiah Perkins passed away this month, but his only living family member, his daughter wasn’t able to make his funeral in Cincinnati, Ohio due to her own health problems.

For anyone to not have a single person at their funeral is a sad enough, but for someone who served our country, it’s unthinkable.

This is a thought process the cemetery also felt, so they put out a request announcing anyone who wants to come is welcome.

On Saturday, over Memorial Weekend, FOUR HUNDRED people showed up to pay their respect.

While most of the funeral attendees were local to the area, they had people from all over showing up. One woman even drove 100 miles from Kentucky just to be there for the 90 year old veteran.

Hezekiah was buried with full military honors, and someone even set up a live video feed so his daughter could watch.

The funeral director even shared that the daughter was so grateful and broke down in tears when she saw how many people came to honor her dad.
