Feel Good Story: Guys Keep Widow Company After Husband Passes

There’s a photo making its way around the internet, and the story behind it is a beautiful, yet bittersweet one.

Jamario Howard was at a BBQ place in Oxford, Alabama with two of his buddies last week when they noticed an elderly woman at another table.

The woman was eating dinner by herself and looked a little lonely, so Jamario went over and asked if he could sit with her.

Her name is Eleanor, and she agreed to let Jamario sit with her while she told him her story.  Her husband had passed away and the following day would have been their 60th anniversary.

Jamario decided that she shouldn’t keep eating alone and brought her over to his table with his friends, and Eleanor got very excited.

Someone got a photo of the whole thing and we’re so glad they did.

Jamario was just thinking about how he hates eating alone, and didn’t want Eleanor to feel alone either.

You never know what others are going through, and we hope this story inspires you to share your kindness with someone today.
