Feel Good Story: Groom Rescues Drowning Teen

Newlyweds Zac and Cindy Edwards had only been married for minutes and were having their wedding photos taken after their beach wedding ceremony.

That’s when a woman came running up and said a high school student was drowning after being caught in a rip tide.  Lifeguards on the beach couldn’t help because they were already rescuing someone else.

Luckily, Zac is a former lifeguard who is now in the Coast Guard.  His new bride told he HAD to go save the kid, and in jumped Zac, dress clothes and all.

Zac was able to get out to the teen and grab him to help keep his head above water until someone could get out on a jet ski to get the two back to shore.

If you CAN help someone, help them.  We’re all in this world together, so let’s help each other out.
