Feel Good Story: Former Frat Brothers Reconnect, and It Saves One’s Life

Back in the mid-70s, Michael Klimkos and Ott Quaries were in the same fraternity at Clarion University in Pittsburgh.

The frat brothers lost touch over the years, but recently reconnected on Facebook.

It came up that Ott was looking for a kidney and was currently undergoing dialysis, four hours a day, three days a week.

Michael immediately knew he wanted to donate and asked Ott how to get the ball rolling to get tested.

Turns out, they were a PERFECT match.

The surgery happened last week and they’re both recovering form the procedure very nicely.

Though they were frat brothers 46 years ago, Ott syas he feels like he’s gained an actual brother after all this.
