Feel Good Story: Elderly Neighbor Buys Gifts for Child Before He Passed Away

Owen Williams is a man living in the U.K. who had a tweet recently go viral about one of his neighbors, Ken Watson.

Ken, beloved by his neighbors, recently passed away at the age of 87.

The other day, Ken’s daughter knocked on Owen’s door, and handed him a bag full of presents . . . fourteen presents to be exact . . . all for Owen’s two-year old daughter to open one each year.

The little girl will be opening presents from the kind neighbor until she’s 16.

Owen and his wife are trying to decide if they should open the gifts to see what they are, in order to space them out according to their daughter’s age over the years, or just hand them off to her at random.

That’s where Twitter came in. The couple tweeted their question to their followers on how to give the presents to their daughter, and 69% voted they should go the random route.
