Feel Good Story: Community Shares the Love with Charitable Woman

Jennifer Clark is the owner of Jen’s Sweet Treats who donates food during the holidays to those in need and raises money for families of fallen police officers in her Milwaukee area community.

Recently, the community Jennifer is so quick to help, gave the love back in a powerful way.

Jennifer’s van was rusted and prone to overheating on the daily, and had zero heat . . . so the community donated thousands of dollars to buy Jen a new vehicle.

“I saw all the people and I just started crying,” Jen shares. “I could barely walk.”

Jamyn Rukavina was the leader of the pack in the fundraising efforts, and said it wasn’t that hard to raise the funds to help Jen out. She shares, “Everyone in the community can say they love Jen, so it’s not too hard to something nice for her.”

The woman who’s not used to being on the receiving end of kind-hearted gifts continues, “I’m just overwhelmed with the generosity with every one that come out to support this and support me,” she said. “I just feel so blessed.”
