Religion and politics aside . . . this story is fantastic!
There’s a church in Wichita that usually spends a good chunk of money on promoting their Easter services to bring in more people, but this year they had other plans for those funds . . .
The church took the funds and bought up $2.2 Million worth of medical debt (for pennies on the dollar), and sent letters to 1,600 random families in Kansas, letting them know their debt had been covered and they never need to pay it back.
The letter said, “We’re Pathway Church. We may never meet you. But as an act of kindness . . . your debt has been forgiven.”
