Well, this guy definitely wins the “Boyfriend of the Year” award.
When Cody Corwin’s (26) girlfriend’s grandma, Bernice Ramsey (71), was in dire need of a liver transplant, he stepped up to the plate.
Bernice’s family actually thought of refusing Cody’s offer because it’s such a huge gesture that would cost him two months of work while he recovers, but Cody insisted and put himself on the donor list.
Cody’s been with his girlfriend for about three years and adores her family so much that he couldn’t imagine not at least trying to help out his hopefully-future-grandmother-in-law.
The surgery went down on February 25th, and both are doing fantastic! Bernice’s family decided to pay the kindness back to Cody by setting up a GoFundMe Page to help alleviate some of the stress from no income for the two months he recovers post-surgery.
