Feel Good Story: Boss Closes Restaurant to Treat Staff to Disney World Vacation

Gypsy Gilliam is the proud owner of a Raleigh, North Carolina business called State Farmers Market Restaurant, and she absolutely deserves a “World’s Best Boss” mug.

Last week, she shut down the whole restaurant for a few days so that she could treat her employees to a much needed vacation . . . to DISNEY WORLD!

The boss paid for all 20 of her employees, and their families, to get out and visit the “happiest place on earth.” Gypsy covered EVERYTHING — travel expenses, hotel costs, tickets to the park, and all of the meals.

This incredible act of kindness did not go unappreciated by her employees. One worker named Jessica Burr was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take her 5 year old son to Disney World, something she never could have done on her own.

Though Gypsy didn’t want to be acknowledge for her kindness and refused to talk on camera, she did share with a local news source that her business doesn’t run without her employees, and she just wanted them to know how much she appreciates them and everything they do.
