Feel Good Story: Billionaire Pays Off Entire Graduating Class’ Student Loans

Last year, “Forbes” ranked Vista Equity Partners founder and CEO, Robert F. Smith, 163rd on their list of wealthiest people in America.

A few months ago, Mr. Smith made a $1.5 million donation to Morehouse College in Atlanta, and just recently, the school gave him an honorary doctorate and invited him to speak at the commencement of about 400 graduating seniors.

During his speech, Mr. Smith announced another donation he’d be making . . . paying off the ENTIRE GRADUATING CLASS’ STUDENT LOANS!!

Someone estimated that to be around $40 million of student debt, completely wiped clean.
