Feel Good Story: A Simple Act of Kindness is All it Takes to Inspire

Jai went to the Draft Day festivities in Nashville for Round 1 of the Draft and witnessed a heartwarming moment that fit the bill for being a Feel Good Story.

While on Lower Broadway, Jai’s husband, Ryan, noticed an older woman in a wheelchair struggling to get up over a curb to the sidewalk to go into one of the restaurants, and no one was helping her. The female she was with couldn’t seem to lift the chair herself, so Ryan handed Jai everything he was holding in order to go help.

Before he could make his way to help the woman in the wheelchair, other people began to notice she needed assistance as well. Many more people in the vicinity were trying to make their way to help the woman, before two men who were closer lifted the chair and got the woman up on the sidewalk.

Seeing so many people notice someone in need of some kindness and assistance, all jumping in to help was a very heartwarming moment. There is so much good in the world, it’s up to us to notice it and let it inspire us to be better. To do better.

Please take the time to notice acts of kindness (small or large) you see while out an about, and share them with us. Tell us all about the kindness you witness in our DMs on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook.
