Feel Good Story: 8 Year Old Helps Fellow Student on First Day of School

One little boy went viral for his act of kindness on the first day of school.

Christian (8) noticed a kid balled up in a corner crying, so he went over to console him.

His mom, Courtney Coko Moore saw the whole interaction happen and posted about it on social media . . .

The proud mom wrote, “I’m so proud of my son, he [saw] a kid balled up into a corner crying, so he went to console him, grabbed his hand and walked him inside of the school! It is an honor to raise such a loving compassionate child! He’s a kid with a Big heart, the first day of school started off right.”

The little boy whom Christian helped that day is named Connor (8), and when his mom saw Courtney’s post, she shared her warm gratitude.

“Tell you son I said thank you so very much! That little boy he helped is my son and is autistic. I worry everyday that he is going to get bullied for being different and you son just absolutely warmed by heart. If there were more children like [Christian] I wouldn’t worry about such things,” wrote Connor’s mom.

That’s when Courtney shared that Christian struggles with speech, and pointed out both boys are unique in their own way.

Kudos, Christian!
