Everyone Lives on Carrie Underwood’s New Album

One of the things we may love most about Carrie Underwood is that she may look like the girl next door, but she can get pretty vicious on her songs – you know, like “Before He Cheats,” “Two Black Cadillacs,” and “Dirty Laundry.”

About her upcoming album, Underwood states, “I don’t think I kill anybody off on this one.  I know.  It’s so unlike me.  Everybody lives at the end.”

The upcoming album Cry Pretty, slated for  a September 14 release, will still have drama, but be a bit more real.  Underwood says, “I feel like just me and where I am in my life.  Just going through this crazy life that we go through.  I’ve grown up a lot and I feel like ‘the drama’ is more real-life.”

The album’s songwriting was influenced by her son Isaiah and her husband Mike Fisher.  Carrie continues, “You draw off of personal experiences and people you know.  Your life influences your music.”

BTW: Did you see this preview of  the new Sunday Night Football song with Carrie?
