Epic Scuba Diving in Beaver Country

Most people don’t know there’s a pretty epic scuba diving resort right here in Beaver Country.

Scuba diving is a sport that’s more fun in crystal clear water and typically requires a certificate accompanied by hours of education and a lot of equipment, but at Pennyroyal Scuba Center at Blue Springs Resort in Hopkinsville, first timers and expert divers can both experience those pretty turqoise waters.

The scuba center, which has been family-owned and operated since 1994, is a one of a kind experience in Western Kentucky.

Divers from all over the country travel to Hopkinsville, just to experience this rare gem of a former limestone quarry with crystal clear water.

The season begins in April and runs through Labor Day, but Pennyroyal offers opportunities to dive every month of the year.

The deepwater area for diving goes to depths more than 30 feet, and there’s a lot of to discover.

Check out this video from scuba divers visiting during the Total Solar Eclipse last Fall.

Pennyroyal Scuba Center Blue Springs Resort is located at 602 Christian Quarry Rd., Hopkinsville, KY 42240. For more information, visit their website here.
