Dolly Won’t Retire, Luke Bryan’s Kangaroos, Kacey on the Opry, Country Baby News and More!

Ready for some quick hitting Country News?

Here are some updates, news, and info about the Beaver Country stars you love to love:

1. Country music ICON Dolly Parton had a sit down with “People,” sharing she’s never once thought of retiring. In fact, the only reason she’d ever consider slowing down was if her husband, Carl Thomas Dean, needed her. Even then, Dolly would only slow down, not stop, saying, “I’d still find a way to work and be productive.” She continues, “I just hope I fall dead in the middle of a song, hopefully one I wrote, right on stage. That’s the way I go.”

2. Remember when Luke Bryan bought a couple kangaroos for his wife last Christmas? Well, Whiskey Riff checked-in on the Aussie natives, and they are doing very well. The two kangaroos are living on an animal rescue started by Luke and his wife, called Brett’s Barn, named for their niece who died when she was only about a month old.

3. We finally have video from “Live at the Opry” when Kacey Musgraves performed her song “High Horse” from her September show.

4. Jake Owen announced he and his girlfriend, Erica Hartlein, are expecting their first child together during Thursday’s “Coming Home” television special on ABC. He’s seen telling his parents and brother, “This will throw you guys for a loop.  Haven’t told anyone but . . . Erica and I will be having a little addition to our Owen family.” Jake has a 6 year old, Olivia Pearl, from his previous marriage to model Lacey Buchanan (who is also expecting a little one with her new husband). Olivia has quite the big sister duties ahead of her!

5. Margo Price revealed during a show in Nashville last week that she’s pregnant. She then posted to her instagram, “Played Bridgestone Arena tonight and shared some news with the crowd… I have been hiding something behind my guitar for a few months now. My husband and I are expecting a baby this May. 💕 love you to the moon and back @jivey
