Over the weekend Micka Burkhart caught what may be a new state record, he caught a 118 pounds and 7 ounces. It was 54 inches long, with a 41-inch girth Blue Cathfish.
Micka was in Stewart County on the Cumberland River when he caught the massive fish. He lured the fish in with a skipjack and a 30-pound test line, according to News Channel 5.
Micka is still waiting to see if this is a new state record or not, the verification and certification is still pending…
