Did You Know The Grinch Tried To Steal Halloween As Well? (Video)

The original “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” was written in 1957 and was a huge success, even still to this day.  Evidently, Dr. Seuss wrote a prequel to that movie 20 years later in 1977 called “Halloween Is Grinch Night.”

It is basically the same concept as the original, Grinch hates that the Who’s in Whoville are enjoying Halloween and he wants to stop it. According to Simplemost.com, this 25 minute short-movie actually won an Emmy in 1978.

I haven’t watched the entire short film just yet but the little I did see threw me off because Whoville doesn’t look like the Whoville I know.  It looks like the Fall season which I understand.  I just thought Whoville celebrated Christmas all year round.  It was weird seeing the Who’s not dressed up in Christmas clothes and shopping for the holidays.  But watched it for yourself and form your own opinion…
